Sans Souci Beach in Honolulu

Down past the Waikiki Aquarium, you'll find beautiful Sans Souci Beach in Honolulu, also called Kaimana Beach. It's a small beach just a short walk from the main Waikiki Area. Here, you can enjoy the quieter beach and still be near the shopping and restaurants. Though we call this a quieter beach, it is still popular with both tourists and locals so it's rarely empty.

Sans Souci Beach is right in front of The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel and Kapiolani Park. This park is huge and a great place for a picnic. The park also has free street parking and public buses stop throughout the park so it's very convenient to get to the park as well as Sans Souci Beach.

Like most all the beaches in Honolulu, Sans Souci is a lovely place for a swim, sunbathing, snorkeling and surfing. This spot does not have the free entertainment or beach rentals and activities like Kuhio and Waikiki but that's part of what makes it quieter and calmer.
