Queens Beach in Honolulu

View of Queen's Beach.

Queens Beach in Honolulu is next to Kuhio Beach and across from the Honolulu Zoo. Some people call it Kapiolani Beach because it's near Kapiolani Park. This is a great beach with volleyball courts and both sandy and grassy areas. It's also a very popular spot for people to come bodyboarding.

People walking along The Wall between Kuhio and Queen's Beaches in Honolulu. There is a wall between Queens Beach and Kuhio Beach that people can walk out just past Kuhio Beach's breakwalls. The end of the wall has a sort of gazebo that offers nice shade and a great ocean view. Watch the boats, surfers, bodyboarders, even look for fish.

As we said, this is a very popular spot for bodyboarding. Some people like to jump off the wall into the waves. Not only is this prohibited (and signs are posted) it is also dangerous and we do not suggest doing it. The water is not very deep and there are a lot of rocks and coral that can cause serious injury.
