Oahu Luau

What’s a Hawaiian island vacation without an Oahu Luau! Dancing, music and lots of food! See the Samoan fire-knife dance, Samoan slap dance and of course the hula. And if you’re brave, you may even get the chance to hula on stage.

You have several choices all over the island. Many of the places that do luaus outside of Waikiki will even come and pick you up. Luaus are very popular and often very crowded.

Luaus In Waikiki

The Royal Hawaiian Hotel and the Hilton Hawaiian Village offer luaus full of food and entertainment right in the heart of Waikiki.

You can't miss the Royal Hawaiian, it's the big pink hotel also known as the Pink Palace. As Honolulu's oldest hotel, it offers visitors a classic Hawaiian experience.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a very large property offering guests a huge variety of activities and eateries. It even has flamingos and penguins!

The Polynesian Culture Center

The Polynesian Culture Center is about an hour outside Waikiki on the North Shore of Oahu. It is a nonprofit institution whose mission is to help preserve and showcase South Pacific island cultures. It offers many activities and events, including luaus, to the public and you can easily spend the whole day there.

Note: No alcohol is allowed in or served at the Polynesian Culture Center.

Germain’s

About an hour outside of Waikiki in Kapolei near the Barber's Point lighthouse. The location is the former residence of Rosalei and William Stephenson & their family. Individual coconut trees were planted for each member of the Stephenson family and you can still see them throughout the property.

Paradise Cove at Ko Olina Resort and Marina

Located on the West coast of Oahu, Ko Olina means "Place of Joy" and the property has so much; vacation ownership, hotel, golf, marina and activities like the Paradise Cove Luau.
