Honolulu Restaurants
Honolulu Restaurants can be pricey! Fortunately, Honolulu does have some amazing restaurants from moderately priced to expensive. You probably won't have time to try them all in one visit so you just might have to come back!
Note: Some Honolulu restaurants take cash only. If you plan to use a credit card, ask right away which cards the restaurant accepts to avoid a mad dash to the nearest bank.
You won't have to search around for Japanese Food because there are Japanese and Sushi Restaurants everywhere! It could be because most of the tourists that visit Oahu are from Japan. Surprisingly, the prices in Honolulu are not much more expensive than the mainland. (We always get a little nervous when we see cheap sushi anyway.)
For good Chinese Food, we recommend Chinatown, which you will find has more than just Chinese food. You'll find Honolulu Restaurants with food from all over the world.
If you want something closer to Waikiki we suggest
Fairly extensive menu, large dining area, nice decor.
Pizza!

Very popular for watching football and other sporting events-don't forget about the time difference! They also have a location in the Hilton Hawaiian Village and will deliver to Waikiki hotels.
Arancino Italian Pasta and Pizza 255 Beachwalk Street Honolulu, Hawaii 96815 (808) 923-5557
Small place with a nice romantic atmosphere, good food and good service. They have another location in the Waikiki Marriott with the same good food but not quite the atmosphere. Also listed in our favorite Italian Restaurants.
Italian restaurants are great family restaurants with a variety of plates to please almost everyone, especially kids! The portions tend to be very generous too so don't be surprised if you have left overs.
Beef, chicken, pork, seafood and some local favorites - all from the grill. Don't miss trying Huli Huli Chicken if you get the chance-that's barbeque chicken Hawaiian style.
You might not see many Indian restaurants while walking around Waikiki or the main downtown area but not to worry. There are some nice places to get some good Indian food.
Mexican food can satisfy any craving for spicy and even if you prefer mild, you can find something good. Mexican restaurants usually offer vegetarian options too.
