Honolulu Museums

There is just so much to do here. These Honolulu Museums merit a visit in addition to the world class beaches and water activities.

Learn more about traditional Hawaiian culture and how it has been influenced and see the memorials of World War II and the attack on Pearl Harbor.

At Pearl Harbor

Two memorials right next to each other: the wreckage of the USS Arizona marks the beginning of the United States' involvement in World War II and the USS Missouri marks the end of the war. There is free parking at the entrance for the Arizona Memorial and a shuttle to the Missouri.

USS Arizona Memorial
Visit the site where the USS Arizona was sunk 7 December 1941 and still sits today. After watching a video, take a Navy shuttle boat from the visitor's center out to the wreckage.

USS Missouri Memorial
Called the Mighty Mo, the Missouri was the last battleship the United States Navy built and the place where the Japanese surrendered ending World War II. Wonder around the battleship on your own or take a guided tour.
