If you like music, don't miss the Honolulu Hard Rock Cafe. The first Hard Rock started in London in 1971 and now has restaurants all over the world, including Honolulu, Maui and Kona, Hawaii. Each Hard Rock is unique but they all have memorabilia from all sort of artists and there are always great music and videos playing for your enjoyment, sometimes quite loud!
You can choose to sit inside or on the outside patio with its open fire pit. Inside, you'll see photos, concert posters, records and oh yes, a car over the bar! Wonderful atmosphere, good food, some local beer and just good fun. And to remember your experience, visit the gift shop where you can buy shirts, glasses and all different kinds of pins for women, men and children. Don't worry if you miss the shop, you can order online as well.
The Hard Rock in Honolulu is not really in the main part of Waikiki but still very central. It's down towards the Ala Moana Shopping Center, across from the Convention Center. It's easy to get to and has parking.
