Honolulu City Lights

Photo of Snow Family.

You'll want to visit the City Hall for the Honolulu City Lights if you're on Oahu at Christmas time. It's a holiday tradition for the whole family that includes indoor and outdoor decorations like the Hawaiian style Santa and Mrs. Claus and surfing snow people.

The celebration kicks off at the beginning of December with a tree lighting, parade, concert, food and fun. The decorations stay up all month for all to enjoy by day or at night when everything is all lit up.

If you've never thought of spending the winter holidays in Honolulu, it's worth a look. The weather here is just beautiful all year round and you can enjoy traditional summer activities even in December. How about spending Christmas Day on the beach or surprising someone with Surfing lessons s/he can use at stunning Waikiki Beach?

If you do get the chance to spend the holidays in Honolulu, we're sure you'll love it. The whole family will enjoy the Hawaiian style Christmas decorations at City Hall and throughout Honolulu. We wish you all a Happy Holiday and we look forward to seeing you in Hawaii!
