The Honolulu Boat

TheBoat

June 20, 2009 was the last day of operation for TheBoat.

The Honolulu Boat, or TheBoat, is part of Honolulu's Public Transportation system and offers people another alternative to sitting in rush hour traffic.

Monday through Friday, TheBoat goes back and forth from Barber's Point to Aloha Tower in downtown Honolulu. It's a 60 minute trip and wonderful for commuters making their way downtown.

iSail high-speed InternetInstead of just sitting in traffic, commuters can get some work done using the free high-speed wireless Internet. Or, enjoy breakfast. Commuters can bring their own food or TheBoat has drinks and some food service. Note: no smoking and no open alcoholic beverages allowed.
