This place is a little hidden but the food is great and the staff is wonderful! The Chef and most of the staff are from Japan and they emphasize Macrobiotic food principles and abandoning the use of refined sugar all together. Don't worry, they still make delicious desserts.

This national chain finally has a location on Oahu! Sushi (brown rice available), deli, bakery, smoothie counter, cafe plus a large grocery store full of natural food, including gluten free food. Great wine and cheese departments.

Our favorite local smoothie shop. All different flavors of fresh smoothies and juices. This is a small shop owned and managed by a local couple who are always friendly.

Real Fruit Smoothies.Fruit smoothies
Fruit smoothies are a very popular healthy food in Honolulu and you can get them in all types of restaurants, not just the ones listed on this page. Another favorite smoothie spot is Jamba Juice which has quite a few locations all around. They have a large selection and just make great smoothies.

Many places can use juice or soymilk instead of regular milk and/or yogurt if you prefer a non-dairy smoothie.

Japanese and Sushi Restaurants
Even if you aren't keen on raw fish, you can get some great, healthy food at Japanese places, including vegetable rolls, miso soup, tea and seaweed salads.

These restaurants and stores offer some wonderful healthy food in Honolulu and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Be sure to
visit our Main Restaurant Page for more great restaurants in Honolulu.

Aloha and we wish you good health!
